Rose Trewin saved the king from a coup and stopped the powerful mage, but at the cost of her secrets.

War is threatening King Micah’s southern border and his council continues to push him to choose a bride, reminding him all too often of his lack of an heir. He finds himself hesitating as he remembers a young woman with defiance in her eyes and the friendship that’s grown between them.
